This is our first installment on the road. We discuss ditsy girls in the airport, a confused Russian shuttle driver and San Francisco. We enjoy a very touristy San Francisco vacation which includes dinner at the Grubstake Diner, a tour of Alcatraz Island, lunch at The Crabhouse on Pier 39, a ride on the Cable Car, a ballgame at AT&T Park and of course Irish Coffee at the Buena Vista Cafe to come.

This one is a short 37:52. Expect the next stop to be a bit longer as we talk about our days onboard the Celebrity Mercury and our stops in Astoria and Seattle.

This week we discuss other podcasts, hobos, and Wrestlemania XXIV.

The Marines had a good week and this leads to Victoria's odd request involving the A-Team. That in turn leads into a discussion about Mr T before we're finally able to move on. We complete the last bracket of the first round in the Food Mascot Tournament of Champions. Also we introduce a new challenger for David Beckham since his battle with bacon ended in a draw. Bacon's next opponent is to be named later.

Victoria wants to know what language she should learn while we're on the cruise. Please tell us by leaving us a comment or emailing us.

Vote for us on Podcast Alley!!!

Also, don't forget to donate using the buttons on the website to help Daniel drink on the cruise! Sure for the price of a cup of coffee you could save a child in some country. But we live in America and Daniel will be on a boat with my parents completely sober if you don't donate. He will have to watch the Celebrity Cruise dancers, sober. He will have to watch old people tear each other up for B9. Donate now if you want to support your nation.

068: Don't Stick Your Dick In A Tainted Melon

This week we talk about Easter weekend. This includes the obvious, like Jesus, the Chicken of God. This also includes Studio Diner, why IN-N-Out should be open on Easter, the argument about having lamb as Easter dinner, Victoria glorious "Peep Show" creation and why basketball is for children. We go through the 25 most disturbing sex toys according to our friends at Cracked.com and wonder if we're going to hell in the name of humor.

Of course Easter couldn't be over without more announcements by the Catholic Church. This time it's in the form of seven modern mortal sins. We discuss them all and why the church is breaking them voluntarily. I guess when the Pope is sitting in St Peter's chair, he really is infallible. We discuss the bacon v. Beckham saga again and Victoria has an awesome list!

You can expect Easter Dinner in exactly 1:12:36

066: It Smells Like Delicious Ass

This is UNniversary 2008! We have reached one year in podcasting. So what do we do? We do what we promised to do in Episode One: celebrate with more people. On this show we have Butch, Becky, Aaron, Marina and Allison with us as we broadcast the FIRST EVER LIVE UNCAST EPISODE!

Now let's get down to the topics:

Dwarves Can't Be Ninjas
We Pick On Rachel
Presto! Print Emails and Photos Without a Computer!
Aaron's Grandma Will Kill You
A Nine-Year Old Sets a Van On Fire
A Tornado Hits Atlanta (We hope Beerchick is OK)
We Talk Literature
Victoria Outs Me About Choosing Savage Garden For Our First Dance

Right. Victoria and Marina are getting eaten out by their pets, Butch is tripping and falling on dicks, Aaron has a lethal Grandma and yet I'M the one who's the terrible human being because when I was 21 I had bad taste in music and chose the worst possible moment to express it.

Notice: Victoria did not object at all to that song until MONTHS after the wedding was over. She didn't stop me. She never objected. In fact, I remember her bringing up the idea of the song but let's not get into who's memory of things is correct. Either way neither of us stopped the other and so however it truly went down...we're in this together. It's time for a second wedding.

HOLD ONTO YOUR SOCKS...this comes in and 1:40:51. That's right..almost two hours.

20 years ago we all got rickrolled as "Never Gonna Give You Up" reached #1 on the charts. This episode was all on me since I bring damn near everything on the table and Victoria adds a nursery rhyme and a play on a children's story.

We also discuss weed as an aid for Altzheimers, reasons why you teetotalers need to start drinking more alcohol, more redactions and apparently the latest winner of the "Ugly Dog Contest" hails from San Diego and goes by the name of Victoria. How interesting.

This one checks in at 43:11

Check these out:
Mark Kistler's Secret City Adventures Mural
Cannabis Offers Hope to Altzheimers Patients
Reasons To Start Drinking Alcohol
48 Blinded as They Stare At Image of Virgin Mary In the Sun
Victoria wins Ugliest Dog Contest

and of course...VOTE FOR US!!! Podcast Alley & Bloggers Choice Awards

For this Episode Victoria has a grand plan to create a comic book based on a serial killer and Bon Jovi songs. We visit my cousin Thomas and together the three of us beat his family at Go Fish! There's a very special PSA from Victoria and we discuss some of the worst jobs in history. The show ends with my rant against Daylight Saving Time. This show ends abruptly at 49:31.

UNniversary 2008 is Saturday night and we're putting together the final preparations for the party and our show will be broadcast live on PalTalk at 11pm EST.

As always, please vote for the show at Podcast Alley.
This episode is full of whackiness. Watch out folks! Victoria drops her hatred of Lance Burton for a moment to hate on local weatherman, Joe Lizura. We discuss Valentine gifts, Fun Dip, and we discuss God. Yeah that's right. God.

I rag on my mom for sending me a chain letter about illegal aliens when we have illegal alienism in our heritage and she's a leech on the government.

There's also pathetic topics about bars at closing time, selective sperm, bum trash and badass POTUS.

Oh and there's something about David Beckam but I can hardly remember.

Our apologies for Episode 54. Apparently, if you upload a file, it never gets deleted. If you try to overwrite that file with a fixed one that has the same name, somehow the old file stays online.

So, I had to go through a few versions of the file before one existed that worked properly. Those who heard the old file, what I corrected was my rewrite of the first verse to "Stronger". The old version sounds like crap and so I stripped it and re-recorded it. Uncast054fixed.mp3 should be the correct file. Delete all the other versions of the episode on your iTunes.

Again our apologies for the issues. I don't anticipate this happening again now that I know how Libsyn works.

Episode 54 is packed
in with a totes-load of topics. Among them a night of disappointing
commercials but a game that was anything but. We discuss Animal Planet
getting stupid for the fourth time, signs from the bridge, Groundhog's
Day, McDonaldland being thrown into chaos, Burger King and his discples
and transvestite chickens. Yeah, you read that right. OH and somewhere
in the second half, Victoria wants to play a game. I bet you can't
guess what it is before you listen to this episode. Time left on the
clock reads 1:05:17. That's over an hour for those scoring at home.
Now it's time to play sing-a-long. About 19:40
into the podcast, I play a remix I wrote to the 1st verse of Kanye
West's "Stronger". Here are the lyrics...

Should've lost tonight

Should've been like Randy Moss tonight

Instead they showed up and were the boss tonight

Didn't give a fuck the Pats were perfect, right? Awesome.

Manning to Burress for the score

Damn, they don't make 'em like this anymore

I ask cause I'm not sure,

Did anyone see that damn final score?

Bow in the presence of greatness

'Cause though you all had forsaken us

And we were not impress by your lateness

You can (still) celebrate, sip on some Cris'

So go ahead, go nuts, go ape shit

Especially in your new blue and red shit

Act like you been here since Eight-Six

Even without a pick-six, we'll take this, haters.

We're back from our trip out to Las Vegas to celebrate New Years Eve 2007 and New Years Day 2008!

With a mix of our own commentary comes a couple new guests to the Uncast family: Legion and Mr. DaHonay. We discuss the Brother Love concert featuring Chemda at the New York/New York Hotel's Bridge Bash.

Since we spent a few days in Vegas, we also discuss tourists, beer in odd containers, the M&M store, people handing out cards, and of course magic and titties since that's basically what Vegas is all about.
043: Uncast Christmas 2007

It's Christmas time! Surely this is being released a day late but we recorded this on Christmas Eve.

Victoria tracks Santa's progress with NORAD as we go through tales of the last week, our own Christmas Awesome Lists, we discover Rockstar Energy Drinks and I have a need to piss on the Highway of Holiness. Victoria gives us the celebrity surprise of 2007 and as Santa heads our way, we head to bed with visions of vodka and scotch in our heads.

There are still a few hours left to submit your Christmas gift stories. If you can get them in by the time you go to bed tonight, we'll read them and have a winner announced tomorrow night when we record episode 44 with Butch.
Send those stories to us via email to uncast.net@gmail.com.

Wishing you and yours the best of success, health, happiness and love this winter season.

We realized after the last episode that we hadn't picked a game of the week this week.

Last week was Chicago at Philly in which Victoria picked the Eagles (she just likes those cheesesteaks) and so I got stuck with the Bears. The game was pretty good and up until the last minute or so We all thought Victoria would come out on top but the Bears scored late to win the game so I WIN.

This week we won't have another episode out before the games are played so we've decided on Jacksonville vs Tampa Bay with Victoria taking the Jaguars. You all make your picks (before gametime please) and we'll see who wins next week when episode 34 comes out.

FIRE UPDATE: Uncast Residence Evacuated

We can't go into too much detail at the moment but our apartment in San Diego has been evacuated due to danger from what is being called the Witch Creek Fire. We put Cinnamon in her carrier, grabbed most of our clothes, our main computer including mixer and microphones, hygenic products and a few momentos and left our apartment at 6am this morning. We gave some water bottles to our neighbors as we left and we're currently in Chula Vista, CA near the I-5 waiting for word as to when we can return home.

At the moment the fire has burned structures about a mile north from us and the sky look like night time. Winds are gusting over 50mph and firefighters say there is 0% containment. We'll keep updating this post as more information comes to us. Online sites have been sadly far behind in getting information out. There are fires in San Marcos, Rancho Bernardo, East of Chula Vista near the Otay Lakes area and there are 7 other fires burning in the county as well. Right now we're tired, dirty, sore and a bit nervous.

Any thoughts, prayers, words of support, etc are very appreciated. We love you all and we'll get episode 33 out to you as soon as we can but we hope you'll understand that our home is our focus at the moment.

If you're in the path of the fires we urge you to not play hero. Get the drapes and any flammable away from your walls, grab essentials, help neighbors and go. Neighbor helping neighbor OR at the very least being EXTREMELY patient with one another and kind will help save lives and maybe structures as well. Be good to strangers around you. They're in the same predicament you're in. The more we help each other, the better it is for all of us. Take care. We'll be in touch.

Episode 30 - delayed (sad face)

Episode 30 will be on a short delay due to recovery from the Podcast Expo and prep for the photography workshop you have heard so much about.

However, episode 30 will have a special guest, none other than Chris Marquardt from Tips From the Top Floor. Yayz!

Episode 31 will have the infamous Butch and our recantings of the glorious weekend we just enjoyed. There may be video available (depending on Victoria's technical prowess).

In the meantime you can visit Daniel's blog or Butch's Blog or Daniel's pics all about the Expo.

Oh for my blog about the expo there is none but I will describe it to you in three words: yumma, yumma, yumma.

Does that count as 3? I it is 3 words but all the same word. Hmmm.. Think about that and shoot us an email at uncast.net@gmail.com. Talk to us. We like people but not in a creepy way.
028: Cause That Would Be Awesome

In this episode we learn that Victoria may be suffering from PCOS (see this link for more info). We discuss our new lifestyle of diet and exercise which we hope will lead to better health and thinner waists. Victoria asks us all what our getup and go song is. Ours is "Push" by Brother Love. I ask us all why there are so few child stars that grow up to be normal and we both want to hold magic bullet parties though she's thinking about food.

Some co-workers of hers buy shit from partylite and it baffles Victoria. She introduces us to Ravelry. She's gotten back into knitting folks. Watch out!
We discuss kisses, pussy and breast feeding. Then there's a bit of a look back to past episodes and we end it with class as usual...a new revelation.

Oh and there's asking for votes on Podcast Alley, Bloggers Choice Awards and iTunes reviews.
027: Cinnamon the Thug

This week we learned a lot from the VMAs and Victoria helps to guide us through these lessons. We recap last weeks Game of the Week in which her pick lost in embarrassing fashion and Victoria also reviews two movies she recently saw: Breach and Blades of Glory.

We have a few events coming up: The Podcast & New Media Expo and New Years Eve with KATG in Las Vegas! For the expo we are buying t-shirts for Uncast and in creating these shirts on Cafe Press, we realized that there is a seemingly endless list of gift possibilities for Christmas.

We decide that Cinnamon needs a theme song and a new identity on the show: Cinnamon the Thug. She's coming to destroy a town near you even through she doesn't leave the house. There's some reviews of The Office Season 3 DVD, more "That's what she said" and this week's Game of the Week: Washington Redskins vs New York Giants

Oh and we learn Victoria is a block girl and she wants to call me Hunter. Hmmm new show name? Hunter and Block Girl? No I don't think the world is ready for such greatness.

GO VOTE FOR US AT PODCAST ALLEY! www.podcastalley.com
Email, leave a comment or come meet us at the Podcast Expo! You'll need a badge and you can get one here.

025: People of the Future Will Need Your Fortunes

We begin this episode examining a scratch on Victoria's leg and Infoquest. All seems lost until we start asking the real hard hitting questions:

1. Do you subscribe to the "You had to be a fan before X album in order to be considered a true fan" philosophy?
2. Which bands that are still considered respectable did you love in their prime but now you don't like?
3. Going vice versa...which did you dislike in their prime but now you like them?
Also the newest deathmatch poll: Cujo vs. Michael Vick. Who wins?

We debate the Vegoose Music Festival vs Street Scene and we announce an upcoming concert. I have my rant of the week against people with stupid bumper stickers and window decals.

PSA from Uncast: Watch Doctor Who & read "The Sweet Hereafter" by Russell Banks

We solicit advice from parents and I go through the first 13 episodes of Uncast, redacting some comments I've made. Through this walk through time we learn that Victoria's ass is like a fortune cookie, Jesus is like bacon and Obama is going to have to work extra hard at getting the Jew vote.

We also cordially invite you to join us for the Buffy-Oke screening of "Once More With Feeling" at the Ken Cinemas at midnight on October 5 & 6.

024: Who Says They Want To Be the Feet?

This week we bring in Butch Rosser and Aaron Brungardt and try to create a MANcast to counter-balance the Estrogencast we were subjected to a month ago. As you would expect from such an episode, topics range from sex and edible underwear to movies, fanboy TV shows, sports, music and hot chicks.

We also do our best to offend every part of the world except we all agree that Canada rocks. In this we also shout out to the Canadian hotties in our lives, Rhian and kataish among others. If names were forgotten, please forgive us. We were drunk, disorderly and the fact that we remembered two names is a feat in itself.

In this episode we use this opportunity to pimp out Aaron's new DVD release of Fred's Friend which you can get by contacting him through his MySpace page and the new and quickly rising song by Bomani D'Mite Armah called "Read a Book". It has a great beat and sends some life lessons our way. Take this song to heart. Learn from it. Apply it to your life.

*big breath*

There are deathpools, a discussion of Superbad, Heroes vs 24, Aaron's
misguided belief that Janeane Garofalo is better than Kristen Bell and
a new innovative idea for all our single listeners out there. We also begin whispers of Butch's campaign for the presidency in 2016, talk about him possibly becoming my brother-in-law by 2010 (or 2013) and if you miss hearing Victoria's voice, don't worry. She'll be back next week stronger than ever.

tries to convince us there is a correlation between the popularity of
sex as pets and the downfall of society. I doubt it. What do you think?

Victoria
then tries to cast me as Notorious B.I.G. before I have to shut that
idea down as per I'm white. I also introduce, for the first time, my

019: Tales from Anthology

Butch and Rachel join us for this episode of Uncast.

Topics de la semaine: Butch and I battle it out about Hall & Oates (Awesome or teh suck?) and the girls discuss their week together including a trip to the zoo and a night at the local Harry Potter release party. This vacation brings about two things. First, Cinnamon needs a panda. Second, we each claim a Harry Potter character...Victoria takes Daniel Radcliffe, Rachel takes Rupert Grint and Butch takes Emma Watson. They try to pin me with Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) but I choose Katie Leung (Cho Chang) instead.

While they falsely accuse me of loving Bonnie and Butch makes remarks about my going for an underage girl, let me put it on the record that the girl I chose (Katie Leung) is 19 and will be 20 on August 8th while the girl HE picked (Emma Watson) will not be legal until NEXT April 15th. Suck on that you child molesting pervert.

It's pretty much Butch and I from that point with him discussing his new job at Anthology, telling the tale of how he lost his old job and we go into a club called Aubergine and how DJ Mikey Beatz helped kickstart Butch's future career as a club mashup DJ.

017: Estrogen Estrogen Everywhere

This week Becky fills in as I travel to WV to attend my mom's wedding.

Girlcast
is in full swing as the girls discuss movies, TV shows, women they hate
and men they love (not their husbands, mind you). WARNING: There is absolutely NO testosterone levels in this episode whatsoever.

Topics
include: ComiCON screws us, The BevMo Incident, Awesome Sushi, John
Barrowman gets added to Victoria's list, racism vs auto-erotic
crashiation, America's Next Top Model, gift giving, Charmed,
Becky's hatred for Jennifer Garner and Katie Holmes, big love for
Maggie Gyllenhaal, and they decide that Christian Bale is the best
Batman.

It's also movie review time for Girlcast. Go see Secretary and The Machinist. Avoid Catch and Release, Jersey Girl and Crash (1996) like the plague. James Spader is creepy and Christopher Walken plays a good villain.

Victoria and Becky made sushi. Here's the ones they created:

Victoria Roll: Sweet Potato, Avocado, Cream Cheese
Chicken Terryaki: Terryaki Chicken, Cream Cheese, Water Chestnuts
California Club: Avocado, Bacon, Chicken lightly covered in mayo
BBQ Fun: BBQ Chicken, Sweet Potatoes, Bacon

They
also share stories about bad car experiences, bad party nights, music-related guilty pleasures, their favorite drinks, Live Earth
concert, Becky's Sirius stations, Robot Chicken,
live action Care Bears or JEM, names for twins, strange pet hybrids,
youtube.com videos (Old Gregg & Little Girl Monster), hair bands that
start with W and Becky's man list.

The lesson here is: when you let two girls talk for an hour it becomes the land of 10,000
topics. From cats to guys, food and booze, all kinds of entertainment
and stories. If there's a topic you don't hear in this episode then you either didn't listen or you have testicles.

016: That's Not a Real Name

This week's episode comes to you via delay thanks to Victoria's infected ear. Still, we find time to discuss Avenue Q, stupid ideas in seminars, the MLB All-Star Game selections and more of our rants and raves including Victoria's latest name for a band.

Oh, and by the time you're listening to this I'll either be on a plane headed for Pittsburgh or I'll have landed. Either way, say a little prayer to whatever God you believe in (even if that god is just you) and wish me luck this weekend. My mom's getting married and I'm not only handing her off to a guy I barely know but I'm also playing photographer at the reception. Craziness.

We have new guests this week! Aaron and Becky join us for a show while we celebrate my birthday.

This week we discuss shopping at the San Diego County Fair with your parents, whether or not ninjas have a code of honor, shows to watch on BBC America, inappropriate hand waving to songs like "Delilah" and "Hey Joe", playing Marvin Gaye songs behind Father's Day clips, mullets and skullets and we surf stories on the net.

Father's Day was Sunday so we tell a few dad stories including the following: Aaron's dad is a sentimental fool, Becky's dad is a racist, Victoria's dad is like Harry Carey and my dad liked to make slides back in the day.

We also discuss things we found out about our parents that we wish we could wash from our minds, the fact that Pamela Anderson is the gateway from Rock to Reality TV and Aaron ruins his reputation by confessing his love for Jersey Girl and Last Action Hero.

This week Victoria is the new drunk half of Uncast! We discuss our celebrity top five, NASCAR hooligan gangs and I get a little crazy with the shout outs. Victoria deems me "Dumpy Dumps" when I call her Vicki one too many times and mentions that she wants to get to the point in her life when she only has to communicate in grunts and groans. Jesus, zombies and Cinnamon make their way into the discussion as usual and we ask the question, "if you add chocolate ice cream to root beer, can you call it a Root Beer Floater?"

Victoria's Top Five:
5. Nicole Scherzinger (Pussycat Dolls)
4. Jon Bon Jovi (yeah I don't get it either)
3. Veronica Varekova (SI swimsuit babe)
2.
In this Part Drei, we find out that malatosis is a condition caused by too much scotch consumption, we try recording a smutcast but Victoria's inability to perform leads me to create the term Giggly Porn, there is yet more cruise discussion, Butch deems me "Number Three", I call Victoria out on the truth behind our wedding night and we discuss how we lost our virginity. Victoria doesn't remember much. This leads me to quit for the second time in this episode. Butch remembers plenty about his first time.

In Part Deux Victoria brings us an update to the "You Gotta Love It" story, we try to determine where/if Red Apple Cigarettes showed up in Death Proof and we stop throwing Aaron under the bus and praise him Brasky-style. Also, I get a little drunk, go a little crazy and have to be reminded why I lost to zombies and burritos. Butch brings nothing but questions to the episode. Let's see if you can answer these for us:

1. If Jesus is a zombie and he's more interested in your soul than your brains, how does he eat your soul?
2. Are we given the chance to defend ourselves at the Final Judgement and does Rusty play the bailiff?
3. They say our lives can be compared to a sitcom. So what sitcom are you?
4. Is it too soon to name your fantasy baseball team the Blacksburg Massacre?

In light of this last question, we discuss NBC's ethics after receiving the package from Seung Cho & Victoria unashamedly confesses to us about a certain teabagging incident at work. In the end Butch and I agree that Adam was right when he sang that Beautiful People are People. Victoria, always the critic, reminds us that we're all just a Benetton ad.

We had a relaxing Easter, bring up the word chittery-chattery and discuss the upcoming Southern California Renaissance Pleasure Faire (and forget to mention the Escondido Renaissance Faire...how dare us).

LISTENER HOMEWORK:
1. Tell us a story of when your significant other went out of their way to do something for you for no other reason than they felt like it.
2. Tell us what you think of fake nails.
3.
